What Does Follow Up Boss Cost in 2026? Published Plans, Explained

Follow Up Boss is one of the most-used CRMs in residential real estate, and it does something several bigger competitors still won’t: it publishes its prices. No “request a demo” wall, no quote-only tiers. That makes budgeting easier — but you still have to run the math, because Follow Up Boss charges per user on the entry plan and per bundle above it, and the crossover points matter more than the sticker prices. Here’s what the published plans cost, and where each one starts to make sense.

The short answer

At our check in August 2026, Follow Up Boss publishes three monthly plans: Grow at $69 per user, Pro at $499/month including 10 users, and Platform at $1,000/month including 30 users, with additional users at $49 (Pro) and $20 (Platform). Calling is an add-on at $39 per user on Grow. Annual billing is listed at roughly two months free ($58, $416, and $833 respectively). No setup fee is listed, every plan carries a free trial, and the site states no contract — cancel any time.

The per-seat math, worked

The plan names matter less than the crossovers. Run your actual headcount:

  • 5 agents on Grow: 5 × $69 = $345/month. Calling adds 5 × $39 = $195 if you want it. Pro doesn’t pay off yet.
  • 8 agents on Grow: 8 × $69 = $552/month — already above Pro’s $499 for 10 users. The crossover sits at 8 seats.
  • 10 agents: Grow = $690; Pro = $499. Pro is clearly cheaper, and each agent past 10 costs $49 instead of $69.
  • 25 agents: Pro = $499 + 15 × $49 = $1,234/month; Platform = $1,000/month including all 30. Crossover again.

The pattern: this is a pricing ladder, and the worst thing you can do is pick a tier once and never re-run the arithmetic as you hire. Recheck at every 3–5 agents added or lost.

What sits outside the base price

  • Calling. $39/user on Grow (listed at $33 annual). If your team lives on the dialer, price it in from day one — it’s a third of the entry plan’s cost again.
  • Annual vs. monthly. The listed annual rates ($58/$416/$833) are the same product; the discount is real but it converts you from month-to-month to a committed year. Decide with your cash flow, not the sticker.
  • Anything not on the rate card. We only state what the page states. Before signing, ask what’s not included in your tier — that question is where quote-led vendors hide cost, and published-rate vendors can still have add-on modules.

Questions to ask before you commit

  • At my exact headcount (today, and in 12 months), which tier is cheapest — and when does the next crossover hit?
  • Is calling included at my tier, and is it priced per user or per minute?
  • What does it cost to add or remove agents mid-term?
  • If I leave, what does the export include — contacts only, or notes, tasks, and communication history too?
