Lofty’s pricing isn’t published: every tier — Agent, Team, Broker, Enterprise — says “Request Pricing,” and Lofty says its price varies with your package, seat count, and upgrades.¹ BrokerDIY publishes a flat monthly rate for the whole brokerage on its pricing page — no quote, no seat-count multiplier — and lets you bring your own AI key at no markup.
Switching from Lofty: what actually moves
Your database is the switching cost, so here is the migration, in full, from Lofty’s own documentation.²
- What you can take. Lofty has a built-in export: People → the three-dot menu beside Add Lead → Lead Export. You select your leads, and Lofty emails you a download link to a CSV copy of the leads and contacts in your database.²
- Who can run it. Only users given export access by permission profile — and for personal (private) leads, Lofty’s docs are explicit: an agent “cannot see nor export private leads that belong to someone else.” Only the owner can export those. If your team runs on personal leads, each agent exports their own book.²
- Exporting deletes nothing. Lofty’s export “does not mean you are erasing them from your database, you are technically just securing a copy.” You can run a full export while fully live on Lofty — zero cutover risk.²
- What we do with it. BrokerDIY has a built-in CSV contact import, run by a workspace admin. It runs dry-run first: you see exactly what would land, row by row, before a single contact is written — and every row gets a verdict, so “we imported 47 of 50” always comes with the three that didn’t and why.³

- Overlap, not cliff. Because Lofty’s export copies rather than removes, the sane migration is: export, dry-run import, verify, then run Lofty and BrokerDIY in parallel for a pay period before you cancel anything.

“Can I get my whole database out, in one file, without asking permission?” For Lofty the answer is yes — with the personal-lead caveat above. We’d rather you knew that on this page than after you signed somewhere.

Where Lofty still leads
Lofty ships a mature lead-operations engine today — automated outreach, smart-drip marketing, and database-mining seller-intent tooling, with an add-on marketplace around them. If your decision is “which system does the most automated lead outreach the day I sign up,” Lofty currently does more, and we won’t pretend otherwise. BrokerDIY is the younger product; we compete on pricing model, AI economics, governance, and not holding your data hostage.
